.Product Design / Interior Designer Intern

Planq is a sustainable furniture brand founded in 2015 by twin brothers Anton and Dennis. In addition to the brand, there are also many custom-made projects for major clients, where sustainability and innovation play a major role.

The design uses mainly the in-house developed PlanqTextile. This is a composite of textiles, such as jeans and army clothing, among others, as well as biodegradable sources, such as flax and burlap bags. 

Planq is looking for a Product Design / Interior Designer Intern (full-time), who likes to roll up his/her sleeves. During the internship you will work as part of a team on all processes within a number of projects. There are also smaller projects on which you will be working independently. This includes thinking along and developing new products, such as the new furniture collection, but also other products.

Work

• You assist in the product process;

• You will help and think about developing new furniture collection and also other products.

• You will help and support projects from design to realization;

• You will participate in prototyping and assembly of furniture;

• General support.

Who are you?

• You are pursuing a relevant education at the college or university level;

• You can handle 3D CAD programs or Adobe (Illustrator, photoshop);

•   You are enthusiastic, flexible, assertive and show initiative;

• You are working both independently and as part of a team;

• You like to have fun
